Public Safety Building progressing on schedule

Work continues on the new Maryville Public Safety facility. That's according to City Manager Greg McDanel.

"A notice to proceed on the project was issued for E.L. Crawford, completing the city and house work on the project at least for this portion.  So they've been working on pouring footing.  Within the next 6 weeks, we should see truckloads of building arrive on site.  A portion of this building are a Nucor building structure so it's fantastic to sport a local company, but also we'll have a building on site in just a matter of weeks."

McDanel adds the project is still on schedule.

"The contractors are doing a great job.  The City staff did a great job on the initial grading, really laying the verbal foundation for this building.  We're excited about the project and it should be complete a year from now.
